How to Select a CEF Closed-End Connector

1. Confirm the conductor range. Select CEF1.25 for 22–16 AWG / 0.5–1.5 mm², CEF2 for 16–14 AWG / 1.5–2.5 mm², or CEF5.5 for 12–10 AWG / 4–6 mm².
2. Check the connector dimensions. Confirm that the finished connector fits the available enclosure and wire-routing space.
3. Confirm the crimping system. The current product data lists IZUMI 7A for these models. Confirm the approved tool, die and crimp instruction before production use.

Crimping and Application Notes

Use the approved strip length and avoid nicked, cut or missing conductor strands. Insert the conductor fully, position the connector in the approved die and complete the crimp according to the applicable work instruction.
